ABATTOIRS

Europress has been the material of choice for pipework at several abattoirs including Woolworths meat recently completed new facility in Truganina, plants in WA and country Vic. The 316L stainless steel has been used for hot & cold water, washdown cleaning, humidity spraylines and compressed air.

AUTOMOTIVE

Air Energy have recently completed a major reburbishment for HSV Holden Special Vehicles. Air Energy was selected to provide a complete package of Ringmain and branchline pipework and fit off outlets and hosereels to point of use. Air Energy can design stainless steel pipework supply for mechanical contractors or use their own team of experienced installers. Using Europress has real advantages in installing multiple lines for lubricants, compressed air or waste oil pipes. Efficient Easy and Effortless and a perfect finish. No naked flames either!

AQUACULTURE

Supply of reliable and failproof oxygen into the breeding and growing tanks is absolutely critical. 316L stainless steel was obvious material of choice for this Barramundi fish farm. Temperature, salinity, PH, Oxygen are all tightly controlled. Europress Press fittings make a fast and reliable installation possible.

COMPRESSED AIR RETICULATION

Using Europress stainless steel, ether 316L or 304 is a cost-effective way to install clean and efficient pipework for the ultimate compressed air system. The thin wall pipe is extremely strong and maximises the volume capacity and flowrate of the system, reducing pressure loss and running costs.

DAIRY

Stainless steel pipework is often synonymous with dairy manufacturing. Europress pressfit stainless steel has been selected at several Fonterra sites, and is used for hot & cold water supply, flow & return lines, compressed air supply, washdown lines, and even for hygienic protection of cabling.

AIR ENERGY was selected as a preferred supplier to design, supply and install chilled water, compressed air and vacuum systems for Quicksteps ‘State–of-the-art’ new manufacturing plant at Waurn Ponds. Quickstep are currently partnering with some of the world’s largest aerospace/defence organisations, including the US Department of Defence, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Airbus, Thales and BAE. Using Europress press fittings cuts costs for installing plant producing the carbon fibre composite vehicle parts for use in the Hawkei vehicles.

FOOD PROCESSING

This major Food processor uses Europress stainless steel extensively in their modern plant. This iconic producer of frozen food uses maXair and Europress for their manufacturing plant-the largest manufacturer of meat pies in Australia employing over 500 people.

HEATING & COOLING

Europress stainless steel is the fastest way to install corrosion resistant flow and return lines. It is ideal for both Recirculating Chilled water, ambient water and coolants.

HOSPITALS

Europress was used extensively for this nurse training facility. 316L does not support pathogens, is easy to clean, resists corrosion and is aesthetically pleasing.

MANUFACTURING

Using thin wall Europress stainless steel at this manufacturing plant maximised the delivery of high-volume compressed air with minimal pressure drop. The very high strength to weight and higher flow capacity of pressfit stainless steel with its smooth bore increases the benefits. Other plants utilise pressfit stainless steel for Compressed Air, weld gases, inert gases like nitrogen, recirculating Chilled water and ambient water as well as the waste water lines.

MINING

Air Energy have experience at Iron ore, limestone, sand and crushed rock Quarries, supplying pipework to withstand this rugged environment. Stainless steel is far tougher than copper piping to withstand impact.

OIL & GAS

Air Energy supply or install stainless steel piping for the Gas Industry. This key plant used Air Energy Europress for a compressed air installation, but fittings are also tested and approved for gas. Each gas fitting has 100% QA testing and has a yellow GAS label as well as yellow HNBR seals.

PAPER MILL

Air Energy worked closely with the Engineers advising, designing and supplying stainless steel press fittings and pipework for the plant contractors at this huge Paper mill. Pressfit pipework is faster and no gas bottles, hoses, naked flames, fire-spotters, wind shielding – a much better and cost saving experience.

PHARMACEUTICAL

Whether it is dental supplies, food additives or drug manufacturing , Air Energy understands clean room requirements and has installed a variety of specialist pipe systems. Europress stainless steel is fast to install and ideal for maintaining the integrity of services for manufacture of medicines, pharmaceuticals or food additives.

WATER TREATMENT

Air Energy have worked on both ends of the water cycle, from water supply, water treatment to waste disposal and sewerage treatment works. Pictured here is a part of a drinking water purification site with that demonstrates the advantage of press fit pipework – no naked flames working in close proximity to electrical cable and other plastic pipes.

WINERIES

A major winery recently recently installed over $200,000 worth of Europress materials for Glycol, Nitrogen, Water, and Compressed Air at their storage and bottling facility. Every day a plant isn’t operating is a significant cost in lost production - often tens of thousands. So, while the installation of Europress saved 37% over against welding the pipework, the biggest saving was due to the fact it was 58% faster to install! Europress allowed the winery to commence with production at full capacity over 2 months earlier than if they had welded the pipework!
