Using thin wall Europress stainless steel at this manufacturing plant maximised the delivery of high-volume compressed air with minimal pressure drop. The very high strength to weight and higher flow capacity of pressfit stainless steel with its smooth bore increases the benefits. Other plants utilise pressfit stainless steel for Compressed Air, weld gases, inert gases like nitrogen, recirculating Chilled water and ambient water as well as the waste water lines.

MINING

Air Energy have experience at Iron ore, limestone, sand and crushed rock Quarries, supplying pipework to withstand this rugged environment. Stainless steel is far tougher than copper piping to withstand impact.

OIL & GAS

Air Energy supply or install stainless steel piping for the Gas Industry. This key plant used Air Energy Europress for a compressed air installation, but fittings are also tested and approved for gas. Each gas fitting has 100% QA testing and has a yellow GAS label as well as yellow HNBR seals.

PAPER MILL

Air Energy worked closely with the Engineers advising, designing and supplying stainless steel press fittings and pipework for the plant contractors at this huge Paper mill. Pressfit pipework is faster and no gas bottles, hoses, naked flames, fire-spotters, wind shielding – a much better and cost saving experience.

WATER TREATMENT

Air Energy have worked on both ends of the water cycle, from water supply, water treatment to waste disposal and sewerage treatment works. Pictured here is a part of a drinking water purification site with that demonstrates the advantage of press fit pipework – no naked flames working in close proximity to electrical cable and other plastic pipes.

WINERIES

A major winery recently recently installed over $200,000 worth of Europress materials for Glycol, Nitrogen, Water, and Compressed Air at their storage and bottling facility. Every day a plant isn’t operating is a significant cost in lost production - often tens of thousands. So, while the installation of Europress saved 37% over against welding the pipework, the biggest saving was due to the fact it was 58% faster to install! Europress allowed the winery to commence with production at full capacity over 2 months earlier than if they had welded the pipework!
